The Pantry thanks the Painted Oak Nursery School in Pennington for its recent food drive. The whole school, around 40 children, were offered the opportunity to donate from a list of items including cake mix, icing, candles, napkins, balloons, small toys, and handmade cards, which were collected in the school's main drop-off area.
Children and families who chose to participate on the day of Painted Oak's community service event helped decorate birthday bags for Pantry clients, and then filled them with all of the materials to provide a birthday in a bag, which were delivered to the Pantry.
